After dismantling, I note that the clutch is completely gone and I have no spares and have to improvise. The mechanic and all others waving that they have no solution. Furthermore, I’m a bit disappointed, because they are usually very creative in such countries.
Another possibility is, it sent the spare parts from Europe. But this takes minimum 1-2 weeks and costs around $ 500 Express shipping. Am nächsten Morgen packe ich und wir wollen versuchen, dass Leonardo im Seitenwagen fährt und Frau auf dem Töff. Dann muss ich nur noch eine richtig steile Auffahrt hinauf, doch leider kann ich nicht im ersten Gang fahren, da der Töff zu wenig Leistung hat. Ich muss also die Kupplung schleifen lassen, bis…, bis sie nicht mehr geht. Leider ist es kein Hitzeproblem, sondern sie ist durchgeschmort. Der Security ruft einen Kollegen an und der schleppt uns mit dem Lastwagen den Berg hinauf und danach zu einem Mechaniker. Ich beginne gleich mit der Demontage und Fra sucht ein Hotel, denn ich befürchte, dass wir länger hier bleiben. Die Demontage gelingt und ich stelle fest, dass die Kupplung hinüber ist und ich keine Ersatzteile habe und improvisieren muss. Der Mechaniker und alle anderen winken ab, dass sie keine Lösung haben. Darüber bin ich etwas enttäuscht, da sie sonst in solchen Ländern sehr kreativ sind. Eine andere Möglichkeit ist, die Ersatzteile von Europa schicken lassen. Dies dauert aber Minimum 1-2 Wochen und kostet um die 500$ Express Versandkosten. Normale Postsendung dauert bis zu 5 Wochen und ich habe einen bereits einen Termin für die Weiterreise, den ich nicht verschieben kann. Ja diesmal bin ich wirklich im Seich!
