Berkeley, CA 23.10.2015 Berkeley, USA Km: 99025 Stopover in San Francisco / Zwischenstopp in San Francisco The first long trip with Leonardo in the sidecar is easy because he sleeps most of the time.
We find a couch in Berkeley and make from there a trip to San Francisco. First, we spend an hour in a traffic jam! Then we walk along the piers that are completely overrun with thousands of tourists. Much has changed since the last time I was here 20 years ago. Today I feel like at Disneyland. We go shopping shortly and have a picnic overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. Then weg o back home in a traffic jam again…. ********************** Die erste längere Fahrt mit Leonardo im Seitenwagen verläuft Problemlos, da er die meiste Zeit schläft. Wir finden eine Couch in Berkeley und machen von da aus einen Ausflug nach San Francisco. Zuerst verbringen wir eine Stunde im Staub! Danach laufen wir den Piers entlang, die mit tausenden von Touristen völlig überlaufen sind. Vieles hat sich verändert seit ich das letzte Mal vor 20 Jahren hier war. Heute komme ich mir wie im Disneyland vor. Wir gehen noch kurz einkaufen und machen Picknick mit Blick auf die Golden Gate Bridge. Danach geht’s im Stau wieder nach Hause….
