The trip to Bandar takes a good week and will not be counted. Day 9: I have a new application forms filled out and go to the Indian Consulate. My application form will be accepted and made a detailed interview. I will be granted only for 3 months, but this is better than 30 days in Tehran. “I should go to Tehran if I want to stay six months”, said the consul! My application must now be sent to the Indian Embassy in Switzerland and from there I should then get the clearance. However, I have to wait for at least 10 days. The Secretary promises me that he will call me when everything is ready. I bypass the time with a visit to Qeshm and Kerman. Day 10: Today, everything should be ready. But, I got no call from the consulate. Because the Internet is not working today, I cannot locate and call the phone number. Day 11: I go to the consulate and ask about the status of the visa. “It’s all just finished”…! I should come again at 5 o clock and then pick up the passport with the visa. By 5 o clock I go back again and pick up the passport with the visa. ********************** Nach der Rückkehr von Kerman beschäftige ich mich wieder mit dem Visum für Indien. Die Fahrt nach Bandar dauert gut eine Woche und wird nicht gezählt. Tag 9: Ich habe eine neue Application Form ausgefüllt und gehe zum Indischen Konsulat. Mein Antrag wird entgegengenommen und ein ausführliches Interview gemacht. Mir werden nur 3 Monate gewährt, dies ist aber besser als 30 Tage in Teheran. „Ich soll nach Teheran gehen, wenn ich 6 Monate Aufenthaltsdauer will“, meint der Konsul!!! Mein Antrag muss nun an die Indische Botschaft in der Schweiz geschickt werden und von dort sollte ich dann die Freigabe bekommen. Allerdings muss ich dafür mindestens 10 Tage warten. Der Sekretär verspricht mir, dass er mich anrufen wird wenn alles bereit ist. Ich überbrücke die Zeit mit einem Besuch auf Qeshm und Kerman. Tag 10: Heute sollte alles bereit sein. Jedoch kriege ich kein Anruf des Konsulats. Da das Internet heute nicht funktioniert, kann ich die Telefonnummer nicht ausfindig machen und anrufen. Tag 11: Ich gehe zum Konsulat und will nach dem Status des Visums fragen. „Es ist soeben alles fertig geworden“…!!! Ich soll um 17 Uhr nochmals vorbeikommen und dann den Pass mit dem Visum abholen. Um 17 Uhr fahre ich nochmals hin und hole den Pass mit dem Visum ab.
