Day 5: I meet with the consul and he denied me the 6 months duration. He can give me a maximum of 30 days. 30 days to travel around India is definitely too less and all my planning are shi… I tell him I need to think about it first and see what I can do. Throughout the afternoon I try to find new routes and make a new plan.
Day 6: I go to the embassy early . But in vain “Because holidays closed today “
Day 7: Again, I go to the embassy early and stand at the counter 1 and I hope the secretary let me in and I can do the paperwork. I queue the worst 30 minutes of my life. Absolute disrespect of the others. Jostle with physical contact, one even has pressed his mouth against my shoulder. When I was the first in the queue, another gives his papers from behind me to the counter and wants to cut the line. The whole time, permanently pushing from the others. But the secretary sends me to the 2 counter. This means waiting one hour more and then …… then they cannot find my papers! I have to fill it again and print out everything. I do this immediately and try to get an exception in the afternoon and give the papers outside the opening times. But the counter is closed and I have to come back when it is open.
Day 8 and 9: Weekend in Iran and it will not work at the embassy.
I break this exercise now and I’ll see for opportunities. Let’s see what the next day’s brings.

Tag 5: Ich treffe mich mit dem Konsul und er verweigert mir die 6 Monate Aufenthaltsdauer. Er kann mir maximal 30 Tage geben. 30 Tage um Indien zu bereisen ist definitiv zu wenig und meine ganze Planung ist am Ar… Ich sage ihm, ich muss zuerst darüber nachdenken und schauen was ich machen kann. Den ganzen Nachmittag versuche ich neue Routen zu finden und mache eine neue Planung.
Tag 6: Ich gehe frühzeitig zur Botschaft. Doch vergebens „Wegen Feiertag heute geschlossen”
Tag 7: Wieder gehe ich frühzeitig zur Botschaft und stehe am Schalter 1 an. Ich hoffe der Sekretär lässt mich rein und ich kann den Papierkram erledigen. Ich stehe die schlimmsten 30 Minuten meines Lebens an. Absolute Respektlosigkeit der anderen. Drängeln mit Körperkontakt, einer hat sogar sein Mund an meine Schulter gedrückt. Als ich der vorderste war, streckte ein anderer seine Papiere neben mir vorbei und will so vordrängeln. Ständige herum geschubste von den anderen. Der Sekretär schickt mich aber zu dem Schaltern 2. Dies bedeutet wieder eine Stunde warten und dann… … dann finden sie meine Papiere nicht mehr!!! Ich muss alles nochmals ausfüllen und ausdrucken. Ich versuche dies sofort zu machen und am Nachmittag eine Ausnahme zu bekommen und ausserhalb der Öffnungszeiten die Papiere zu geben. Doch der Schalter ist geschlossen und ich muss wieder vorbeikommen wenn er geöffnet ist.
Tag 8 und 9: Wochenende im Iran und es wird auf der Botschaft nicht gearbeitet.
Ich werde die Übung nun unterbrechen und mich neu orientieren. Mal sehen was die nächsten Tage bringen.
