02.02.2017 Iguazu, BR Km: 152104 New country: Brazil / Neues Land: Brasilien
Because I want to continue, I have to leave the great campsite of Rene and Marion. I head to Brazil and stop at the border. A huge traffic jam and thousands want to cross the border. On the side of Paraguay no one is controlled. But I have to stamp the documents and I’m crazy about it until I find the right office. Then register the bike on the Brazilian side and stamp the passport. Then back into the traffic jam and a taxi driver simply crash into the sidecar because he is impatient and pushes. When I look at the sidecar, I notice that I have a flat tire on the rear wheel. I pump up and continue. I have not had such a hectic border crossing so far!
After I have all the documents, I go to a camping. However, I have to inflate the tire again and I am afraid that the tire is again broken. This is sad, because the tires in Paraguay would be only half of the price in Brazil. Now I am already at the camping and I will see tomorrow what I can do…

Da ich weiter will, muss ich den tollen Campingplatz von Rene und Marion schon wieder verlassen. Ich fahre Richtung Brasilien und werde an der Grenze gestoppt. Ein riesen Stau und tausende wollen mit dem Auto über die Grenze. Auf der Seite von Paraguay wird niemand kontrolliert. Ich muss aber die Dokumente abstempeln lassen und ich irre lange umher, bis ich das richtige Buero gefunden habe. Dann auf Brasilianischer Seite den Töff registrieren und den Pass stempeln. Dann wieder in den Stau und dabei fährt ein Taxifahrer einfach in den Seitenwagen, weil er ungeduldig ist und drängelt. Als ich den Seitenwagen anschaue, merke ich, dass ich ein Platten am Hinterrad habe. Ich pumpe auf und fahre weiter. Ich habe bisher noch keinen solchen hektischen Grenzübertritt gehabt!
Nachdem ich alle Dokumente habe, fahre ich auf einen Camping. Jedoch muss ich nochmals aufpumpen und ich habe Angst, dass der Reifen wieder defekt ist. Das ist blöd, denn die Reifen in Paraguay wären nur halb so teuer. Jetzt bin ich aber schon auf dem Camping in Brasilien und werde morgen schauen was ich machen kann…
