After I was 2 days more or less only lying around and sleeping it goes on. I drive the west coast of El Salvador along and then turn off to San Salvador. Having traversed the capital, I’ll be right on the border with Honduras. Immigration is on both sides quickly. The customs for the motorcycle on Honduras side takes longer. There is a lot of paper work to do. Then I have the customs duty to pay on a bank and go back to collect all the documents to make copies. After that everything is ready and I can continue after 3 hours. I’m going to Santa Rosa de Copan, where I spend my first night in Honduras.

Nachdem ich 2 Tage lang mehr oder wenig nur am Herumliegen und schlafen war, geht es weiter. Ich fahre die Westküste von El Salvador entlang und biege dann ab nach San Salvador. Nachdem ich die Hauptstadt durchquert habe, komme ich bald an die Grenze zu Honduras. Immigration geht auf beiden Seiten schnell. Die Einführung des Motorrades auf Honduras Seite dauert aber länger. Es gibt viel Papierarbeit zu erledigen. Dann muss ich die Zollgebühr auf einer Bank einzahlen wieder zurück um die Dokumente ab zu holen und Kopien erstellen. Danach ist alles bereit und ich kann nach 3 Stunden weiterfahren. Ich fahre nach Santa Rosa de Copan, wo ich meine erste Nacht in Honduras verbringe.
