Mojave Dessert, CA 23.5.2016 Mojave Dessert, USA Km: 118600 Route 66 / Route 66 I’m going to Tucson to find a mechanic. But I’m not so satisfied and decide to buy the rear tires later. So I go to Phoenix and find new gloves. Then I’m heading into the mountains where it is still very cold. That’s why I’m going to the desert where I can find some great camp spots. I try to follow the route, which is very boring at the beginning, and lives only by the name and the tourist shops. Later I ride thru fantastic mountains and here I enjoy the ride very much. Route 66 leads through the Mojave Desert where I simply setup the tent behind a lava hills. I enjoy the quiet and cook something fine to me. ********************** Ich fahre nach Tucson um einen Mechaniker zu finden. Ich bin aber nicht so zufrieden und entscheide den Hinterreifen später zu kaufen. So fahre ich nach Phoenix und finde neue Handschuhe. Danach geht’s in die Berge wo es noch sehr kalt ist. Darum fahre ich in die Wüste wo ich einige tolle Campspots finde. Ich versuche der Route 66 zu folgen, die am Anfang sehr langweilig ist und nur von dem Namen und den Touristen Shops lebt. Später kommen noch fantastische Berge hinzu und hier geniesse ich die Fahrt sehr. Die Route 66 führt direkt durch die Mojave Wüste wo ich einfach das Zelt hinter einem Lava Hügel aufstelle. Ich geniesse die Ruhe und koche mir was feines.
