On the way to Derby breaks the speedometer, but it can repair. Because I removed the front wheel anyway, I change the tire too. Of course everything in the bush somewhere in the no man’s land.
Then we meet an Australian who we met in Bali already. A huge coincidence that we’re here at the same time and same place.
Unfortunately it does not work so well with Francesca. The mood is somewhat depressed since Australia and I do not know what the cause is. We fight for the second time violently to the peas. Maybe we are both disappointed by Australia. The Kimberley is nothing special, everything too expensive, permanent stay in a tent or some other reason. Allerdings hatte ich die Abdeckung, die auch Elektronik enthält, noch nicht befestigt. Dann machte ich einen letzten Versuch, nachdem ich alles zusammengebaut habe und ich kann zu meiner Erleichterung das Telefon wieder starten. Auf dem Weg nach Derby geht noch der Tachometer kaputt, kann ihn aber reparieren. Da ich dabei das Vorderrad entfernte, wechsle ich gleich den Pneu. Natürlich alles irgendwo im Busch im Niemandsland. Dann treffen wir eine Australierin, die wir in Bali schon getroffen haben. Einen riesen Zufall dass wir gerade hier zur gleichen Zeit am gleichen Ort sind. Leider läuft es mit Francesca nicht so gut. Die Stimmung ist seit Australien etwas bedrückt und ich weiss im Moment nicht was die Ursache ist. Wir streiten schon zum zweiten Mal heftig um die Erbsen. Vielleicht sind wir beide enttäuscht von Australien. Die Kimberley sind nichts Besonderes, alles viel zu teuer, ständiges übernachten im Zelt oder sonst einen Grund. So will ich auf keinen Fall weiter zusammen reisen und überlege mir was ich machen soll.
