25.12.2013 Hampi, Indien Km: 42921 Exhausting day / Anstrengender Tag
Thanks to the Italian Connection, and some calls and SMS, I know that my passport is still in Arambol. This means drive back 220 Km. I had made an appointment with Robert in the German Bakery to pick up the passport. Of course he was not there and other calls were necessary. But in the end no problem and I thanked him for the help. Now that I have the passport again, of course I have to drive back to Hubli. I let all the baggage in Hubli to drive faster and easier without baggage. As I start at 6am and I’m arriving Hubli at 2pm, there is still time to reach Hampi at the same day and I continue. In the evening I am exhausted and a little sick. 618 km (no new record) on a day was too much and I do not feel fit. Now I need one, two days rest to relax and then continue to drive in any direction. Let’s see how it goes?

Dank der Italien Connection und einigen Telefonen und SMS weiss ich, dass mein Pass noch in Arambol ist. Dies bedeutet 220 Km zurückfahren. Ich habe mit Robert in der German Bakery abgemacht um den P**************n. Natürlich war er nicht da und weitere Telefone waren nötig. Doch am Schluss kein Problem und ich dankte ihm für die Hilfe. Nachdem ich den Pass wieder habe, muss ich den ganzen Weg natürlich wieder zurück nach Hubli. Ich habe alles Gepäck da gelassen um ohne Gepäck zügiger voran zu kommen. Da ich um 6 Uhr losgefahren bin und um 14 Uhr bereits wieder in Hubli, reicht die Zeit um am gleichen Tag noch nach Hampi weiter zu reisen. Allerdings bin ich fix und fertig und ein wenig krank. 618 Kilometer (kein neuer Rekord) an einem Tag haben Spuren hinterlassen und ich fühle mich nicht mehr Fit. Nun brauche ich Ein, Zwei Tage ruhe um zu relaxen und dann weiter in irgendeine Richtung zu fahren. Mal sehen wie es weiter geht?
