After packing I drive off and many people have been watching. I think not many fully loaded motorbike drives thru this city and they are just interested in what this crazy boy what’s. The guy still wants fuel gasoline. $ 40 cents for a liter, which is great. In Turkey, I paid $ 90 for a full tank and now it’s a gift. Ride through a charming landscape, but there is every 20 to 30 Kilometer a checkpoint (see on video). Suddenly a military man wants to see my passport at a checkpoint. Before, I never had to show the passport. This made me insecure and I even give him a copy. But he was not satisfied and sent me to his colleagues. These say they want the passport and not a copy. Then there the boss came out. In the meantime, others gave me water which reassured me, not because of the water itself, but that they are not want money. I took out the passport, after the officer asked x-times. He briefly controlled the visa and says ok and goodbye. In the evening I went to the bazaar and was looking for a snack. I tried a kebab on Kurdish kind …delicious …A soup, a cooled mineral water and a small plate with some vegetables. All this for $ 1.61 I leave tomorrow Kurdistan one day earlier than I had planned. The reason is that elections are on Saturday and Sunday is a curfew announced.\n\n **********************\n\n Wache schon früh auf und habe generell nicht gut geschlafen, da welche bis um 3 Uhr Fussball geschaut und Lärm gemacht haben. Nach dem Packen fahre ich los wobei mir einige Leute zugeschaut haben. Ich glaube hier fahren nicht viele mit einem voll bepackten Töff vorbei und so sind sie halt interessiert daran, was der komische Typ wohl will. Der Typ will noch tanken. 40 Dollar Cent für einen Liter, das ist super. In der Türkei habe ich schnell mal 90 $ für eine Tankfüllung bezahlt und jetzt ist es fast geschenkt.\n\n Fahrt durch eine Scharmante Landschaft, jedoch gibt es alle 20 bis 30 Kilometer einen Checkpoint (siehe auch Video). Auf einmal will ein Militärmann an einem Checkpoint mein Pass sehen. Zuvor musste ich den Pass nie zeigen. Dies machte mich unsicher und ich hab ihm mal eine Kopie gegeben. Doch er gab sich nicht zufrieden und schickte mich zu seinen Kollegen. Auch diese sagen sie wollen den Pass und keine Kopie. Dann kam noch der Chef raus. In der Zwischenzeit gaben andere mir Wasser was mich beruhigte, nicht wegen dem Wasser selbst, sondern dass sie nicht auf Geld hinaus sind. Ich nahm nachdem der Offizier x-Mal nach dem Pass fragte, den richtigen Pass hervor. Er kontrollierte kurz das Visum uns sagte ok und goodbye.\n\n Am Abend ging ich noch auf den Bazar und suchte ein Imbiss. Ich probierte einen Döner auf Kurdische Art … lecker… Dazu eine Suppe, ein gekühltes Mineralwasser und ein kleiner Teller mit etwas Gemüse. Das alles für 1.61 $\n\n Ich werde morgen, Kurdistan einen Tag früher verlassen als ich geplant habe. Der Grund ist, dass am Samstag Wahlen sind und für den Sonntag eine Ausgangssperre angekündigt ist. Der Wahlkampf wird hier einiges aufwendiger als bei uns geführt. Viele Plakate, Fähnchen und Wahlkampfveranstaltungen sind zu sehen.
