After I packed up and want to start, I see once again a flat tire. This time the worst kind. When searching last night a campground I’m probably driven by a field with bushes full of thorns. Now all these thorns stuck in my tire. Hundreds, if not thousands. First, I think I have patched the tube quickly, but then I realize that all the thorns must out of the tire, otherwise they will be pushed further while driving and I have a flat tire again. After 3 hours of work I have all visible thorns pulled out. On the fly I have 8 holes found in the tube and do not spend the effort to repair the holes and put a new hose. When checking the tire from the inside I found about 10 thorns which are penetrated to the hose. When mounting the front wheel comes into my mind that the rear tire is also full of thorns. As well all the thorns must go of the tire even I have no puncture on the rear wheel-&gt; 3 more hours of work. At 3 o’ clock I then drive off with two perforated tires and blisters on the hands. I stop on a river and I’m immediately invited for dinner. Tired and with an uneasy feeling that I have overlooked a thorn I go to sleep next to a herd of sheep. Let the watchdogs me sleep peacefully?\n\n **********************\n\n Hab eine kühle Nacht verbracht, dafür entschädigt die Aussicht zum Frühstück. Ebenso toll sind die Spiegeleier und der Kaffee dazu. Nachdem ich gepackt habe und aufsitzen will, sehe ich wieder Mal einen platten Reifen. Diesmal von der übelsten Sorte. Bei der Suche gestern Abend bin ich wohl durch ein Feld mit Sträuchern voller Dornen gefahren. Diese Dornen stecken nun alle in meinem Pneu. Hunderte, wenn nicht tausend. Zuerst Denke ich den Schlauch habe ich schnell geflickt, doch dann realisiere ich, dass alle Dornen aus dem Reifen müssen, denn sonst werden sie während des Fahrens weiter hineingedrückt und ich habe wieder einen Platten. Nach 3 Stunden Arbeit habe ich alle Sichtbaren Dornen rausgesogen und schaue den Schlau an. Auf die Schnelle habe ich 8 Löcher gefunden und mache mir die Mühe nicht, die Löcher zu reparieren und lege einen neuen Schlauch ein. Bei der Überprüfung des Reifen von innen finde ich etwa 10 Dornen die bis zum Schlauch durchgedrungen sind. Bei der Montage des Vorderrades kommt mir in den Sinn, dass auch der Hinterreifen voller Dornen ist. Auch wenn ich da keinen Platten habe, müssen die Dornen raus -&gt; weitere 3 Stunden Arbeit. Um 3 Uhr fahre ich dann mit zwei perforierten Reifen und Blasen an der Hand los. An einem Fluss mache ich halt und werde sogleich zum Essen eingeladen. Müde und mit einem unguten Gefühl, ob ich einen Dornen übersehen habe gehe ich dann neben einer Schafherde schlafen. Ob wich die Wachhunde ruhig schlafen lassen?\n
