Today I have the motivation to start this project. In the entrance of the hostel I start dismounting the motorbikes. The first thing I notice that the air filter is pretty dirty and I should clean it more often in the future, respectively has to change. The valve gap is still in tolerance and I have less to readjust. In Antalya, the motorbike has stopped once due the lack of fuel, although there was gasoline in the tank. At that time I have noticed that the vacuum hose is brittle and so no fuel can be pumped from the tank. Now I change this hose too, but must still go to buy a connector. The chain lock is also changed because I got a new only day ago and I have made the old chain lock to the new chain.
When checking the motorbike, I note that the tank has a lot of drag marks. Which may in no case more scrub, otherwise the tank gets a hole. I’m making a provisional fix and will think what I can do later.
Also, the aluminum case will not hold a long time. I mount the tension belt new that I mount some month ago.
The whole job takes 2 days and I have not seen anything of Cappadocia. Let’s see if I can still make some nice photos.\n\n **********************\n\n Seit ei***** Zeit ist der grosse Service am Motorrad fällig. Heute habe ich die Motivation, dieses Projekt anzugehen. Im Eingangsbereich des Hostel beginne ich mit der Demontage des Töffs. Als erstes stelle ich fest, dass der Luftfilter ziemlich verschmutzt ist und ich ihn in Zukunft öfters reinigen resp. wechseln muss. Das Ventilspiel ist noch in der zulässigen Toleranz und ich muss kaum nachstellen. In Antalya ist der Töff mal wegen Benzinmangels stehen geblieben, obwohl noch Benzin im Tank war. Ich habe damals schon gemerkt, dass der Unterdruckschlauch spröde ist und so kein Benzin mehr aus dem Tank gepumpt werden kann. Nun wechsle ich auch diesen Schlauch gleich, muss aber vorher noch ein Verbindungsstück kaufen gehen. Das Kettenschloss wird ebenfalls gewechselt, da ich erst vor Tagen ein neues bekommen habe und ich das alte an die neue Kette gemacht habe.\n\n Bei der Überprüfung des Töff stelle ich fest, dass der Tank viele scheuerstellen hat. Die darf auf keinen Fall weiter scheuern, da sonst der Tank ein Loch bekommt. Ich mache mal ein Provisorium und werde mir was überlegen wie ich es richtig flicken kann.\n\n Auch die Koffer werden nicht mehr lange halten und sind schon ordentlich verbogen. Ich montiere den Spannriemen neu, dass ich schon vor längeren einmal hingemacht habe.\n\n Die ganze Arbeit dauert 2 Tage und ich habe von Kappadokien noch nichts gesehen. Mal sehen ob ich doch noch einige schöne Fotos machen kann.\n
