| \n \n\n Controls \/ Kontrollen Tashkent, Uzbekistan <\/div>\n\n\n <\/td>\n\n\n <\/tr>\n\n\n<\/table>\n\n\nTashkent, Uzbekistan<\/b>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n21.7.2013 Tashkent (UZ) Km: 77986 Controls \/ Kontrollen\n\n After the night’s thunderstorm I wake up drenched and I hope that after 42 days without rain this was just an exception. When approaching the border to Uzbekistan, many people waving on the street. Now I know why, the border is closed at the Jalal-Abad and no passage possible. Now I have to take a detour of 100km and I have to go to Osh. The border crossing went pretty good, but I had 3 other forms sign next to the vehicle registration and the customs declaration. No idea what I had signed. It may well be that I bought 20 camels. In the end, I wanted to leave the border area but the door guard sent me back again and I was checked again. On the way to Tashkent, I was stopped four times more at a roadblock and had to register. Once even when driving in a tunnel inside (all tunnels and bridges here are controlled by military). During an inspection, the policeman took my documents and got into a car and drove away! Another officer told me he goes to the next village to make copies of my documents.\n\n Late at night I reach Tashkent, but do not stay overnight in the designated hotel. This I need to still report to the registry office, so that I am properly registered.\n\n **********************\n\n Nach dem nächtlichen Gewitter wache ich durchnässt auf und hoffe, dass nach 42 Tagen ohne Regen dies nur eine Ausnahme war. \n\n Beim Annähern an die Grenze zu Usbekistan winken viele Leute auf der Strasse. Nun weiss ich auch warum, den die Grenze ist bei Jalal-Abad geschlossen und kein Durchkommen möglich. Ich muss jetzt einen Umweg vom 100Km fahren um nach Osch zu gelangen. Der Grenzübertritt ging recht zügig voran, jedoch musste ich neben der Fahrzeugregistrierung und der Zolldeklaration 3 weitere Formulare unterzeichnen. Keine Ahnung was ich da alles unterschrieben habe. Es kann gut sein, dass ich 20 Kamele gekauft habe. Am Schluss wollte ich das Grenzgebiet verlassen aber der Türwächter schickte mich nochmals zurück und ich wurde nochmals kontrolliert. Auf dem Weg nach Tashkent wurde ich weitere 4 Male an einer Strassensperre angehalten und musste mich registrieren. Einmal sogar beim hereinfahren in ein Tunnel (Sämtliche Tunnels und Brücken werden hier Militärisch überwacht). Bei einer Kontrolle, nahm der Polizist meine Dokumente und stieg in ein Auto und fuhr davon! Ein anderer Beamter sagte mir, er Fahre in das nächste Dorf um Kopien meiner Dokumente zu machen.\n\n Spät am Abend erreiche ich Tashkent, übernachte aber nicht im vorgesehenen Hotel.
