I took the cheapest tent there (1690 SOM). So the next day I can still camping and I can think how I get a really good tent.\n\n Today I have reached a new height record. With 4042 meters above sea level, I crossed an unknown pass. On the way to Songkol I crossed the 3035 meters above sea level located Dolonpass. Road in a bad condition, but still interesting. Great scenery and I made lots of photos at the last 60 Km. Just before the lake I meet two German and I let one ride on my Motorbike for a short distance. Stupid for him at that very moment there was a thunderstorm with hail and snow. Then I ask a farmer if I can next to his yurt camp. Of course, no problem, and I was immediately invited to eat together also. He first served me fermented horse milk (Cumus) and what to eat. I had to take lots of pictures and promise him that I will send this to him. He proudly showed me all his animals and I made a short ride with his horse. In the evening many people came at once into his yurt and have talked and drank. As quickly as they came they were gone. Amazing how the people live there without electricity or flowing water, but extremely nice. I’ve experienced on a clear Night over 3000 meters above sea level, which also correspond was cold (a few degrees below zero). Before going to sleep, there is a problem with one sheep. It wriggles wildly and has foam at the mouth! The farmer did not wait to cut the sheep’s throat. This makes me a little worried, because rabies can be transmitted quickly. Especially because I ate from another sheep and drunk possibly the milk from it.\n\n **********************\n\n Habe mir gleich in Karakol ein Ersatzzelt gekauft. Das billigste was es gab (1690 SOM). So kann ich die nächsten Tage immer noch Campen und mir überlegen wie ich mir ein richtig gutes Zelt besorge.\n\n Ich habe heute einen neuen Höhenrekord erreicht. Mit 4042 MüM überquerte ich einen unbekannten Pass. Der weitere Weg zum Songkol für zuerst über den 3035 MüM liegenden Dolonpass. Schlechte Strasse aber trotzdem interessant. Dann führt ein Abzweiger nach Songkol um die restliche 60 Km zu fahren. Tolle Landschaft und viele Fotos gemacht. Kurz vor dem See treffe ich auf zwei Deutsche wobei ich einen für ein kurzes Stück mitfahren lies. Blöd für ihn, dass genau in diesem Moment ein Gewitter mit Hagel und Schnee kam. Danach frage ich bei einem Bauern ob ich neben seiner Jurte, zelten darf. Natürlich kein Problem und gleich auch eingeladen worden um zusammen zu essen. Als erstes servierte er mir vergorene Pferde-Milch (Cumus) und was zu essen. Ich musste viele Fotos machen und ihm versprechen, dass ich diese ihm zusenden werde. Er zeigte mir mit Stolz all seine Tieren und ich habe einen kleinen Ausritt mit seinem Pferd gemacht. Am Abend kamen auf einmal viele Leute in seine Jurte und haben gequatscht und getrunken. So schnell wie sie gekommen sind waren sie auch wieder weg. Erstaunlich, wie die Leute da leben, ohne Strom und ohne fliessendes Wasser, aber extrem nett. Habe ein Sternenklare Nacht auf über 3000 MüM erlebt, die auch entsprechen kalt war (einige Grad unter null). \n\n Vor dem Schlafen gehen gibt es noch ein Problem mit einem Schaaf. Es zappelt wild herum und hat Schaum vor dem Maul! Der Bauer zögerte nicht lange und schnitt dem Schaaf die Kehle durch. Dies macht mir ein wenig Sorgen, da die Tollwut schnell übertragen werden kann.
