After the restless nights in the hostel, I am glad to camp again. It is quiet and mostly in a great landscape. Then I decide not to go the same way back and continue on Ruta 40. Soon the gravel road starts and there are no tourists anymore. Then I see the first surprise, because the landscape changes to fantastic beautiful. I make some videos and continue riding. In the evening I consider if I should continue a bit more or not. I look at the map for the first time and notice that it goes much further up. Since I am already 3000 meters high I stop at the next opportunity.
\nThe next morning I continue up the mountain and at the end I am at 5000 meters above sea level. The last 5 meters I must go on foot, because the pass is only 4995 meters high.
\nThe landscape is still breathtakingly beautiful and after more than 300 kilometers of gravel road it goes down again to 1000 meters to Salta where I will stop again.<\/p>\n

Nach den unruhigen N\u00e4chten im Hostel bin ich froh wieder zu campen. Es ist ruhig und meistens in toller Landschaft. Dann entscheide ich nicht den gleichen Weg zur\u00fcck zu fahren und werde weiter auf der Ruta 40 bleiben. Schon bald beginnt die Schotterstrasse und somit gibt es auch keine Touristen mehr.\u00a0 Dann kommt die erste \u00dcberraschung, denn die Landschaft wird fantastisch sch\u00f6n. Ich mache einige Videos und fahre weiter. Gegen Abend \u00fcberlege ich ob ich noch etwas weiterfahren soll oder nicht. Ich schaue erstmals auf die Karte und merke, dass es noch viel weiter in die H\u00f6he geht. Da ich bereits auf 3000 Meter bin stoppe ich bei n\u00e4chster Gelegenheit.<\/p>\n
Am n\u00e4chsten Morgen geht es weiter den Berg hinauf und am Schluss bin ich auf 5000 Meter \u00fcber Meer. Die letzten 5 Meter muss ich allerding zu Fuss machen, da der Pass nur 4995 Meter hoch ist.<\/p>\n
Die Landschaft ist immer noch atemberaubend sch\u00f6n und nach \u00fcber 300 Kilometer Schotterastrasse geht es wieder herunter auf 1000 Meter bis nach Salta wo ich wieder halt machen werde.<\/p>\n
