You do not see so much and once I’ll even expelled from the Security. But the view from the bridge in the gorge is Impressive. Unimaginable amounts of material had to be removed. Recently, the extension is in operation and I see some of the first big vessels are using the new lock.\n\n Then there are good news from home. Actually, I accept something that is definitely. But in this case I made an exception and again contacted Francesca. After many emails and Skype calls I could Francesca convince to come visiting me. We’ll meet later again and continued the journey together. At least I hope so, because at Francesca you never know….\n\n Mileage spare tires: 4895 km\n\n **********************\n\n Nach einem Ruhetag gehe ich den Kanal anschauen. Man sieht nicht so viel und einmal werde ich sogar von der Security weggewiesen. Eindrücklich ist aber der Blick von der Brücke in die Schlucht. Unvorstellbare Mengen an Material mussten abgetragen werden. Seit kurzem ist die Erweiterung in Betrieb und ich sehe einige der ersten grösseren Schiffe die den neuen Kanal benutzen.\n\n Dann gibt es gute Nachrichten von Zuhause. Eigentlich akzeptiere ich etwas das definitiv ist. Aber in diesem Fall habe ich eine Ausnahme gemacht und nochmals Francesca kontaktiert. Nach vielen Mails und Skype Calls konnte ich Francesca doch noch überzeugen mich besuchen zu kommen. Wir werde uns etwas später wieder treffen und die Reise gemeinsam fortsetzten.
