Migration in Honduras takes a long time because many people want to leave. After waiting an hour, I’m next and my passport is stamped. The customs officers will then $ 3 dollars for it and I say ok, but I want a receipt. She looks at me a little weird, says again that it wants $ 3 and I ask again a receipt. Frustrated, she gives me back the money. The stamping of the vehicle papers is running smoothly.\n\n In Nicaragua I have to do everything again and run from counter to counter. Because I cannot speak Spanish and I have to communicate with hands and feet, I am always on the wrong counter. After about 2 hours I have a tourist card for $ 10, registration papers (free), any fee for whatever…, insurance for $ 12 and a woman wants me sell something for $ 1. She says that all tourists have to pay. I show her my tourist card and say that I’m not going to pay again.\n\n I continue to Managua and looking for a hotel and I find a cheap one. But I’m not sure if it will be a little too noisy. Let’s see…\n\n Mileage spare tires: 3609 km\n\n **********************\n\n Es wird Zeit weiter zu reisen und mein Weg bringt mich weiter nach Süden und in ein neues Land: Nicaragua. Die Migration in Honduras dauert sehr lange, da viele Leute da ausreisen wollen. Nach einer Stunde warten bin ich da dran und mein Pass wird gestempelt. Die Zöllnerin will dann noch 3$ Dollar dafür und ich verlange eine Quittung dafür. Sie schaut mich etwas komisch an, sagt nochmals dass sie 3$ will und ich verlange wieder eine Quittung. Frustriert gibt sie mir das Geld zurück. Das Abstempeln der Fahrzeugpapiere läuft problemlos. \n\n In Nicaragua muss ich alles wieder registrieren und muss von Schalter zu Schalter. Da ich kein Spanisch kann und mich mit Händen und Füssen verständigen muss bin ich immer am falschen Schalter und werde jeweils weitergeschickt. Nach gut 2 Stunden habe ich eine Touristenkarte für 10$, Fahrzeugpapiere (Gratis), Irgendeine Gebühr für irgendwas, eine Versicherung für 12$ und eine Frau will mir noch was andrehen für 1$. Sie sagt, dass alle Touristen zahlen müssen. Ich zeige ihr meine Touristenkarte und sage, dass ich nicht noch einmal zahlen werde.\n\n Ich fahre weiter bis Managua und suche ein Hotel. Ich finde eines, das günstig ist. Ich bin mir aber nicht sicher ob es etwas zu lärmig sein wird.
