Immediately I see a couple of thing who are different from the USA:\n\n

  • At the stop does not have to stop you. The most make an elegant mexican roll stop. Unlike the West-Indians, the Mexicans are no Kamikaze on the road.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Except gasoline everything is cheaper.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The food is much better Mexico. In general, the Mexican food in Mexico is much better than Mexican food in other countries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • People are slimmer on average. This is surprising, since Latinos are rather „round”.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • They shake hand to greet. This happen also on the road with completes strangers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Toilet paper is not thrown in the toilet but in the bucket next to the toilet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Units are possible to divide. Try to calculate how many times Yards has a mile. Or how many foot or inches.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Mexicans in Mexico are much friendlier than Mexicans in the US! An interesting observation and I have no idea why this is so.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • “No” in the US is No! “No” is in Mexico is the beginning of the discussion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • You don’t have to stop if the police wave you over. I drove a one-way street in the wrong direction and a policeman waved me out. I waved back then friendly and drove on. Although he had a motorcycle he did not follow me.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n **********************\n\n Ich habe mich entschieden, weiter nach Süden zu fahren und die Grenze zu Mexico überschritten. Dabei fallen mir sofort einige Sachen auf, die unterschiedlich zur USA sind:\n\n \n\n

    • Beim Stopp muss man nicht stoppen. Man macht einen eleganten mexikanischen rollstopp. Im Gegensatz zu den Indern sind die Mexikaner keine Kamikaze auf der Strasse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ausser Benzin ist alles billiger.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Das Essen ist Mexico viel besser. Generell ist das Mexikanische Essen in Mexico viel besser als Mexikanisch in anderen Ländern.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Die Leute sind im Durchschnitt schlanker. Dies erstaunt, da die Latinos eher etwas runder sind.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Es wird einem die Hand zur Begrüssung gereicht. Dies auch auf der Strasse bei wild fremden.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • WC Papier wird nicht in die Toilette geworfen sondern in den Kübel neben dem WC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Einheiten sind möglich zu teilen. Versucht mal auszurechnen wie viele Yards eine Meile hat. Oder wie viele Fuss oder Inches. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Mexikaner in Mexico sind viel freundlicher als Mexikaner in den USA! Eine interessante Beobachtung und ich habe keine Ahnung warum dies so ist.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • „No“ in den USA ist No! „No“ ist in Mexico ist der Beginn der Diskussion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Man muss nicht stoppen wenn die Polizei einem anhält. Ich fuhr eine Einbahnstrasse in der falschen Richtung und ein Polizist winkte mich heraus. Ich winkte dann freundlich zurück und fuhr weiter. Obwohl er ein Motorrad hatte verfolgte er mich nicht.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n
