First I go to the Belize border to buy a permit for the bike. This I should have much earlier, but I did not buy because I was only a few days in Mexico and then went straight to Cuba. To buy the permits isn’t a problem but because I’m in the border area, I have to pass the checkpoint like I’m coming from Belize and for sure the pull me over. On the way I tent every time and enjoy the freedom I have now. Next, I look at the ruins of Calakmul. But I’m late, and the facility is already closed. So I camp in front of the entrance and the next morning I’m the first who go in. Somehow all the ruins look like the same and I think about whether I again want to see one…\n\n **********************\n\n Nun bin ich also wieder alleine unterwegs und ich bin gespannt wie es sein wird und ob ich speziell Leonardo vermissen werde.\n\n Als erstes fahre ich an die Grenze zu Belize um eine Permit für das Motorrad zu kaufen. Diese hätte ich schon viel Früher gebraucht, aber ich hatte keine gekauft, da ich nur einige Tage in Mexico war und dann gleich nach Kuba ging. Das Kaufen des Permits ist kein Problem aber da ich auf dem Grenzareal bin, werde ich beim Verlassen kontrolliert wie ich von Belize kommen würde.\n\n Unterwegs Zelte ich jedes Mal und geniesse die Freiheiten die ich jetzt habe. Als nächstes schaue ich mir die Ruinen von Calakmul an. Ich komme aber spät am Abend an und die Anlage ist bereits geschlossen. So zelte ich gleich vor dem Eingang und bin am nächsten Morgen der Erste der rein darf.
