Then I want connect to the internet and the owner says as yesterday that is not possible today because of the weather…. This makes me angry because I feel fooled. Then I pack up and we head west until we come to a new country. Before we get to customs, a woman wants money again (drive thru permit). Next to me all the cars don’t pay and I tell her that I will not pay too, as long as all the others don’t pay. Of course, I am speaking in such situations only Swiss German and do not understand English or Spanish \ud83d\ude42\n\n The departure from Guatemala is easy and we still eat something small and change the last Quetzal. Then move to Belize: First quarantine inspection and spray something on the motorbike and I have to pay of course. Then, Immigration and Registration of motorbikes (temporary import) without any problems. Then the nice woman will still check the motorbike. She asks if we have vegetables, fruits, etc. with us. Of course not, I say. She looks what is under the plastic and then waves us through. After that I have to pay the Road Permit and should then buy insurance. \n\n After the first city we feel the Caribbean style and that people from all over the world are here. A bit later I have to stop at a police control. But the woman (or man is not as accurate recognizable) wanted to see the driver’s license only. \n\n Then continue driving to a camping spot right in the Jungle. A nice couple from the United States maintains this and they are about the same as we alternatively. After cooking a soup and computer work and we got to sleep.\n\n **********************\n\n Wir wachen auf und frühstücken. Dann will ich Internet und die Besitzerin sagt wie gestern, dass wegen des Wetters kein Internet möglich ist…. Dies macht mich sauer, da ich mich verarscht fühle. Dann packen und wir fahren Richtung Westen, bis wir auf ein neues Land stossen. Bevor wir an den Zoll kommen, will eine Frau nochmals Geld (Ausfahrpermit). Neben mir fahren alle Auto ohne zu zahlen vorbei und ich sage ihr, dass ich nicht bezahlen werde, solange all die anderen auch nicht zahlen. Natürlich spreche ich in solchen Situationen nur Schweizerdeutsch und verstehe kein Englisch oder Spanisch \ud83d\ude42 \n\n Die Ausreise aus Guatemala ist einfach und wir essen noch was Kleines und wechseln die letzten Quetzal. Dann Einreise nach Belize: Zuerst Quarantäne Inspektion und irgendetwas an den Töff sprühen und natürlich zahlen. Dann Immigration und Anmeldung des Töffs (temporärer Import) ohne Problem. Dann will die nette Frau noch den Töff ansehen und etwas kontrollieren. Sie fragt, ob wir Gemüse, Früchte usw. mit dabei haben. Natürlich nicht sage ich. Sie schaut was unter dem Plastik ist und winkt uns dann durch. Danach muss ich die Road Permit bezahlen und sollte dann eine Versicherung lösen. \n\n Nach der ersten Stadt spüren wir den karibischen style und dass Leute von der ganzen Welt hier sind. Ein bisschen später findet eine Polizeikontrolle statt. Aber die Frau (oder Mann, ist nicht so genau erkennbar) will nur den Führerausweis sehen. \n\n Dann weiterfahr zu einem Campingspot mitten im Jungle. Ein nettes Paar aus den USA betreibt diesen und sie sind etwa gleich alternativ wie wir.
