Several times we have to negotiate and say that I bought the sidecar original with the motorcycle. After an hour they let us pass then, and again we have a country more. Wir danken dir aber sehr herzlich für all die Hilfe und dass du Teil unserer Reise bist.\n\n Auf der Strasse nach der Grenze hat es schon viele Überfälle gegeben und so wollen wir dieser Weg in einem Stück fahren. So übernachten wir kurz vor der Grenze an einem kleinen See. Dann wollen wir Mexico verlassen und der Zöllner fängt an herum zu zicken und will die Visa abstempeln. Uns wurde gesagt, dass dies nicht nötig ist. Die Konsequenz ist, dass ich auch den Töff abmelden muss und ich alles wieder anmelden muss wenn wir wieder in Mexico einreisen wollen und dann müssen wir wieder bezahlen. Am Schluss verlangt er sogar, dass wir für Leonardo nachzahlen müssen obwohl dies auch nicht nötig wäre. Er spielt ganz einfach seine Macht aus und wir müssen die Gringo Fee bezahlen. Dies nervt, da wir versuchen zu sparen wo es nur geht und dann sind 100 Dollar ganz schnell weg.\n\n Bei der Einreise nach Guatemala dann zuerst die Biosecurity, was bedeutet etwas zahlen und dann spritzen sie irgendwas an den Töff um zu desinfizieren. Danach die Immigration uns am Schluss will er 30 Quetzal dafür. Ich sage ihm er soll eine Quittung dafür ausstellen. Er meint nein und ich sage ihm nochmals ich will eine Quittung. Darauf gibt er mir das Geld zurück! So läuft es mit korrupten Beamten. Bei dem Customs gibt’s dann Probleme mit dem Seitenwagen. Sie finden diese Kategorie nicht im System und im Fahrzeugausweis steht Motorrad. Es kommen immer mehr Leute und versuchen das Problem zu lösen. Mehrmals müssen wir verhandeln und sagen, dass ich den Seitenwagen original zusammen mit dem Motorrad gekauft habe. Nach gut einer Stunde lassen sie uns dann passieren und wir haben wieder ein Land mehr.
