The next day, we are doing a little better and we go to San Cristobal. On the way we stop and help a local who has almost chopped off one finger with his machete. We doctoring him and he invites us to his home. But we want to continue and in San Cristobal wait Thomas, a Swiss who lives a very long time in Mexico and it seems that he speaks 12 languages perfectly. With Francesca he speaks in Italian and with me in Swiss German what’s great for both. We can stay a few days with him, which is also fantastic. In San Cristobal many indigenous people live and dress traditional dresses. So for example the babies are wrapped with a simple cloth behind their backs, and most are carried on the head. Unfortunately we feel still not very good and we are considering what we’ve eaten where or if we otherwise got a virus. Time we see things go on….\n\n **********************\n\n Da ich mich immer noch nicht gut fühle, fahren wir heute nicht so weit und übernachten in einem Hotel. Am nächsten Tag geht es uns ein wenig besser und wir fahren nach San Cristobal. Auf dem Weg halten wir und helfen einem einheimischen, der sich mit der Machete fast den Finger abgehackt hat. Wir verarzten ihn und er lädt uns zu sich heim ein. Wir möchten aber weiter und in San Cristobal wartet Thomas, ein Schweizer der schon sehr lange in Mexico wohnt und gefühlte 12 Sprachen perfekt spricht. Mit Francesca spricht er in Italienisch und mit mir in Schweizerdeutsch was für beide toll ist. Wir können einige Tage bei ihm wohnen, was ebenfalls fantastisch ist.\n\n In San Cristobal leben viele indigene Leute die sich traditionell kleiden und leben. So werden dir Baby mit einem einfachen Tuch auf den Rücken gebunden und das meiste mit dem Kopf getragen.\n\n Leider fühlen wir uns immer noch nicht ganz gut und wir überlegen was wir wo gegessen haben oder ob wir sonst einen Virus eingefangen haben.
