We often have to search a long time and fight for the price. Once we negotiate a good price and when we are in the room and want to pay, it costs 100 pesos more. So do not discuss and look for another hotel. We opt more and more for Auto-Hotels. The hotel is that you can book for single hours and are mainly used for the sex industry. For us, this hotel is great though, because it is cheap, has larger rooms and you usually get a separate, closed garage. So I can easily park the bike and leave the luggage on the motorbike. On the way south we drive over a 3150 meters above the sea lying pass and there is quite cold. Even otherwise, it is not so warm, because we are on a plateau, which is about 2,500 meters above sea level.\n\n Amazingly, the rear tires will last longer than I thought. Since it takes the police in Mexico is not as accurate, I drive it down completely. Let’s see how many kilometers I can make…\n\n **********************\n\n Es ist für uns nicht so einfach eine günstige Unterkunft zu finden. Wir müssen oftmals lange suchen und um den Preis kämpfen. Einmal verhandeln wir einen guten Preis und als wir im Zimmer sind und zahlen möchten, kostet es auf einmal 100 Pesos mehr. Also nicht diskutieren und ein anderes Hotel suchen. \n\n Wir entscheiden uns mehr und mehr für Auto-Hotels. Das sind Hotel die man auch nur für Stunden buchen kann und hauptsächlich fürs Sex-Gewerbe genutzt werden. Für uns ist diese Unterkunft aber super, denn sie ist günstig, hat grössere Zimmer und man bekommt meistens eine separate, geschlossene Garage. So kann ich den Töff bequem parkieren und muss das Gepäck nicht ins Zimmer bringen.\n\n Auf dem Weg nach Süden fahren wir über einen 3150 Meter über Meer liegenden Pass und da ist recht kalt. Auch sonst ist es nicht so warm, da wir uns auf einer Hochebene befinden, die rund 2500 Meter über dem Meer liegt.\n\n Erstaunlicherweise hält der Hinterreifen länger als ich gedacht habe. Da es die Polizei in Mexico nicht so genau nimmt, fahre ich ihn komplett herunter.
