Mountains, plains, desert and millions of cactus are the most important things. Unfortunately, there is more and more wind and of course this is always from the front or the side. Because of the wind we continue and don’t stop at one of the many beautiful beaches on the way to Loreto. Unfortunately Francesca is no longer motivated to Camping. Of course I understand that it is a little harder for her, but that she no longer want to camp makes me a little sad.
We notice that we’ve reached the limit with the number of kilometers a day. 150 Km are ok for Leonardo. Today it is a little over 200 km which is a bit too much. Because of this we decide for a rest day.
In Loreto we travel in a day trip to the mountains and meet a nice couple from France. They cycle from North- to South America. Unfortunately, the short chat is a little too long and Leonardo getting nervous in the sidecar. We try to drive a little, but must soon stop again. Now helps only one thing, Francesca and Leonardo have to go together in the sidecar. It is also a good possibility that Francesca can hear and feel how it is for Leonardo in the boot. She say, when I ride with 50 km\/h, it is so pleasant that she fall almost asleep. With 70 km\/h it starts to become a little louder, but this is not a problem because I usually drive at 60 km\/h.\n\n **********************\n\n Wir fahren weiter nach Süden und die Landschaft ist abwechslungsreich. Berge, weite Ebenen, Wüste und Millionen Kakteen sind die wichtigsten Sachen. Leider kommt immer mehr Wind auf und natürlich ist dieser immer von Vorne oder der Seite. Wegen des Windes fahren wir weiter und halten nicht an einem der vielen Traumstrände vor Loreto. Leider ist Francesca nicht mehr Motiviert zum Camping. Ich verstehe natürlich, dass es für sie etwas umständlicher ist, aber dass sie gar nicht mehr campen will macht mich etwas traurig.\n\n Wir merken, dass wir das Limit mit den gefahrenen Kilometer pro Tag erreicht haben. 150 Km sind für Leonardo ok. Heute ist es ein wenig über 200 km was eher zu viel ist. Wir entschliessen dafür einen Ruhetag einzulegen.\n\n In Loreto fahren wir in einem Tagesausflug in die Berge und treffen ein nettes Paar aus Frankreich. Sie fahren mit dem Fahrrad in Nord und Südamerika. Leider ist der kurze Schwatz etwas zu lange und Leonardo wird nervös im Seitenwagen. Wir versuchen noch etwas zu fahren, müssen aber gleich wieder anhalten. Jetzt hilft nur noch eines, Francesca und Leonardo müssen zusammen im Seitenwagen fahren. Es ist auch eine gute Möglichkeit, dass Francesca hören und fühlen kann wie es für Leonardo im Schiff ist. Sie meint, wenn ich so um die 50zig fahre, ist es so angenehm, dass sie auch fast eingeschlafen ist. Mit 70 Km\/h fängt es an etwas lauter zu werden, aber dies ist kein Problem, da ich normalerweise mit 60 Km\/h fahre.\n
