With this step, I leave definitely my original trip because I never wanted to go back but always forward. For insurance reasons we had to go back, but we don’t like much to go again to Australia, because we were already here and the culture it is not very different from our one. So, nothing new and possibly nothing exciting for me. Let’s see. The bike I left behind in New Zealand, as we can’t drive comfortable on the motorcycle because of the big belly of Francesca, and the shipping would cost only a lot of money. So we have to find a new way how we want to travel in the near future. * Since I am no longer on a motorbike, I start new counting kilometers. So far I’ve driven 93,440 km with the motorbike halfway around the world.\n\n In Sydney, we are very lucky that we find a couch. Even better, our host Rob dispensed with the double bed and sleeping on a camping mattress on the floor! So we have a great place to stay in a prime location and it is exciting to listen when Rob talks about his plans (drive in the Americas by bicycle).\n\n What happens next, you can read in the next blog post….\n\n **********************\n\n Unterdessen sind wir im neuen Land angekommen und das neue Land ist ein altes: Australien\n\n Mit diesem Schritt verlasse ich definitiv meine ursprüngliche Reise, denn ich wollte nie zurückgehen sondern nur immer vorwärts. Aus versicherungstechnischen Gründen sind wir wieder in einem Land wo wir eigentlich nicht wieder hinwollten, da wir bereits in Australien waren und es sich kulturell nicht sehr von unserer Kultur unterscheidet. Somit nichts Neues und ggf. nichts Spannendes für mich. Mal sehen.\n\n Das Motorrad habe ich in Neu Seeland zurückgelassen, da wir wegen des dicken Bauch von Francesca nicht mehr bequem Motorrad fahren können, und das Verschiffen nur viel Geld kosten würde. So müssen wir einen neuen Weg finden wie wir in nächster Zeit reisen wollen.\n\n *Da ich nicht mehr mit dem Motorrad unterwegs bin, beginne ich eine neue Kilometerzählung. Bisher bin ich 93440 Kilometer mit dem Töff um die halbe Welt gefahren.\n\n In Sydney haben wir grosses Glück, dass wir eine Couch finden. Noch besser, Rob unser Host verzichtet auf das Doppel Bett und schläft auf einer Campingmatratze auf dem Boden!
