| \n \n\n Again in the hospital \/ Wieder im Spital Dunedin, New Zealand <\/div>\n\n\n <\/td>\n\n\n <\/tr>\n\n\n<\/table>\n\n\nDunedin, New Zealand<\/b>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n20.12.2014 Dunedin, New Zealand Km: 86694 Again in the hospital \/ Wieder im Spital\n\n The charming drive after the short stop in Twezel brings us again to a beautiful campsite on a river and then further east. In Dunedin first we go to the public hospital to make an appointment for the 2nd trimester ultrasound scan. They tell us we have to go to a doctor first. And the cost is $ 430 for registration in the hospital, about $ 450 plus tax for the scan! It would be cheaper to fly to Australia and there to make the scan, and again to return !!! But we do not give up, and the nice male nurse helps us to find a private clinic. There, they tell us that we must first go to a doctor … but we have the yellow card of Australia and they want tomorrow to call us when an appointment is possible or not. Fortunately, we get an appointment before the weekend was perfectly fit into our plans. The rest of the time we spend in the hostel, as we have after a long time good Internet and the weather looks not so nice. We recover well and eat delicious food. Today beans with fried onions and cooked bacon ….\n\n **********************\n\n Die Fahrt nach dem kurzen Stopp in Twezel bringt uns auf scharmater Strasse wieder an einen schönen Campingplatz an einem Fluss und dann weiter nach Osten. In Dunedin halten wir und gehen als erstes ins öffentliche Spital um einen Termin für den 2. Trimester Ultraschall zu machen. Sie sagen uns, das geht nicht wir müssen zuerst zu einem Doktor. Und die Kosten sind ca. 430$ für die Registrierung im Spital, ca. 450$ für den Scan plus MwSt! Es wäre billiger nach Australien zu fliegen und da den Scan zu machen und wieder zurück zu kehren!!!\n\n Wir geben aber nicht auf und der nette ‚Krankenbruder’ hilft uns eine Privatklinik zu finden. Dort sagen sie uns, dass wir zuerst zu einem Doktor müssen… Wir haben aber die gelbe Karte von Australien dabei und sie wollen uns morgen anrufen, wann einen Termin möglich sei. Glücklicherweise bekommen wir einen Termin noch vor dem Wochenende was super in unsere Planung passt. \n\n Den Rest der Zeit verbringen wir im Hostel, da wir nach langem wieder einmal gutes Internet haben und das Wetter nicht so gut ist. Wir erholen uns auch gut und essen leckeres.
