Paul has kindly invited us to stay at his caravan. The next day I call the operating company in order to ask if my motorbike has already arrived. They have to clear it before and I’ll call again later. Since the motorbike is still not shown up, I’ll call the next day again. I realize that it is not normal and something went wrong. The operating company has no idea where the bike is! I’m getting gradually more bad news. From: “He is in Auckland, but we cannot find it,” “it was loaded in Sydney, but never arrived in Auckland” to “bad news, it seems that it was stolen in Sydney”. This brings me down and my mood decrease from day to day. I have now gone for 2 days and the operating company has no plan where the motorbike is! They have already searched the whole warehouse in Auckland and made investigations in Sydney. Nervously, I have to keep waiting for a positive message. How much longer?\n\n **********************\n\n Töff Problem heute: Kein Töff mehr\n\n Nächstes Land auf meiner Reise: Neu Seeland (Land Nummer 33)\n\n Der Flug war normal und die Kontrolle am Flughafen streng. Paul hat uns netterweise eingeladen in seinem Wohnwagen zu übernachten. Am nächsten Tag rufe ich bei der Betreiberfirma an um zu fragen ob mein Töff schon angekommen ist. Sie müssen es erst abklären und ich rufe später nochmals an. Da der Töff immer noch nicht aufgetaucht ist, rufe ich am nächsten Tag wieder an. Ich merke, dass es etwas nicht normal ist und die Betreiberfirma keine Ahnung hat wo das Bike ist.\n\n Ich kriege nach und nach mehr Hiobsbotschaften. Von: „Er ist in Auckland, wir können ihn aber nicht finden”, „er wurde in Sydney verladen, kam aber nie in Auckland an“, bis hin zu „bad news, es scheint, dass er in Sydney gestohlen wurde“. Dies bringt mich in ein kleines tief und meine Stimmung sinkt von Tag zu Tag. E sind jetzt 2 Tage vergangen und die Betreiberfirma hat keinen Plan wo der Töff ist. Sie haben schon das ganze Warehouse in Auckland durchsucht und Untersuchungen in Sydney gemacht. Nervös muss ich weiter auf eine positive Nachricht warten.
