We start with our clothes and camping equipment. We are making good progress and have washed the most complete. The next day we move forward not as good as we have to prepare a lot for the shipping. The agent in Sydney provides me a high pressure cleaner, so that I get on well. Then it goes to the fine work, so everything is sparkling clean. Meanwhile, I’ve found out that the crate is too small and the motorbike does not fit in the crate. This means that I have to break it down until it fits into the box. However, it is no problem and after 3 days of hard work, everything is ready for loading into the aircraft. We say goodbye warmly to our friendly and generous host, Richard, and go to a hostel near the airport. The whole preparation and packing cost a lot of energy and that is why I need a day off. However, this means that I have not seen anything of Sydney. We spent almost 2 weeks and not have time to sightseeing to do. For me it’s ok, because the journey has always priority. In which country is we arrive next to read the next blog.\n\n **********************\n\n Töff Problem heute: Bike ist zu gross für die Kiste\n\n Um an die nächste Destination zu gelangen muss wegen den Reisebestimmungen alles sauber gereinigt sein. Wir beginnen mit unseren Kleidern und Campingausrüstung. Wir kommen gut voran und haben das Meiste fertig gewaschen. Am nächsten Tag kommen wir nicht mehr so gut voran, da wir noch einiges für das Verschiffen vorbereiten müssen. \n\n Der Agent in Sydney stellt mir einen Hochdruckrei***** zur Verfügung, so dass ich gut vorankomme. Dann geht es an die Feinarbeit, so dass alles blitz blank sauber ist. Unterdessen habe ich festgestellt, dass die Kiste viel zu klein ist und er Töff nicht hineinpasst. Dies bedeutet dass ich ihn zerlegen muss bis er in die Kiste passt. Es ist aber alles kein Problem und nach 3 Tagen harter Arbeit ist alles bereit für den Verlad in das Flugzeug.\n\n Wir verabschieden uns herzlich von unserem netten und grosszügigen Host, Richard, und gehen in ein Hostel in der Nähe des Flughafens.\n\n Die ganze Vorbereitung und Packerei hat viel Energie gekostet und ich brauche darum einen Ruhetag. Dies bedeutet aber, dass ich von Sydney nichts gesehen habe. Wir haben fast 2 Wochen hier verbracht und keine Zeit gefunden um Sight seeing zu machen.
