We can do finally the investigations we want. While it need his time as or advice, and an ultrasound examiner must be made. We are getting today in the fortunate position of a couch and as we change from the hostel just outside of Sydney. We find here optimal conditions to continue the work and rest a bit. I’m on my way to the Swiss Embassy, because I need a new passport (the old one is full). It invites me to the Consul General for a coffee and we talk a little about his and my motorbike travels. After that I go to the Embassy of New Zealand to apply for a visa. It can go up to 25 days for us to get a visa and it also costs a lot, so I decide to take the Visa on Arrival. On the way home I stop in the middle of the highway, since I have switched too late to reserve. The fuel pump is too weak in this moment to pump new petrol in the carburetor and so I have to remove the fuel hose and blow up the petrol in the carburetor. A little later the bike stops again, this time in the tunnel during rush hour! I fill a precaution to the spare tank and blow some more gasoline in the carburetor. Then I can go on and make it up to Richard’s house. The next day we do with him a little trip to the south coast in the National Park. A nice ride and I can exceptionally easy to follow behind someone and not have to decide at each intersection which path I should take. This is very relaxing and fun. Tomorrow we have to start working again. Are we ready well in time?\n\n **********************\n\n Töff Problem heute: Kein Benzin mehr\n\n Seit wir die gelbe Karte vom Doktor haben, haben wir keine Probleme mehr etwas im Spital zu bekommen! Wir können endlich die Untersuchungen die wir wollen durchführen. Es brauch zwar auch seine Zeit, da noch eine Beratung und ein Ultraschall Untersuch gemacht werden müssen.\n\n Wir sind heute wieder in der glücklichen Lage eine Couch zu bekommen und so wechseln wir vom Hostel nach etwas ausserhalb von Sydney. Wir haben aber optimale Bedingungen um weiter arbeiten zu können. Ich mache mich auf den Weg in die Schweizer Botschaft, da ich einen neuen Pass brauche (der alte ist voll). Dabei lädt mich der General Konsul zu einem Kaffee ein und wir plaudern ein wenig über seine und meine Töffreisen. Danach gehe ich noch auf die Botschaft von Neu Seeland um ein Visum zu beantragen. Es kann bis zu 25 Tage gehen, bis wir ein Visum bekommen und es kostet auch sehr viel, so entscheiden wir das Visa on Arrival zu nehmen.\n\n Auf der Heimfahrt bleibe ich mitten auf der Autobahn stehen, da ich zu spät auf Reserve geschaltet habe. Die Benzinpumpe ist in diesem Moment zu schwach um das neue Benzin in den Vergaser zu pumpen und so muss ich den Benzinschlauch jeweils abmontieren und das Benzin in den Vergaser hochblasen. Etwas später bleibe ich wieder stehen, diesmal mitten im Tunnel in der Rushhour! Ich fülle sicherheitshalber den Reservekanister um und blase etwas mehr Benzin in den Vergaser. Danach kann ich weiterfahren und schaffe es bis zu Richards Haus.\n\n Am nächsten Tag machen wir mit ihm einen kleinen Ausflug an die Südküste in den Nationalpark. Eine nette Fahrt und ich kann ausnahmsweise einfach jemanden hinterherfahren und muss nicht bei jeder Kreuzung entscheiden welchen Weg ich nehmen soll. Dies ist sehr entspannend und macht Spass. \n\n Morgen müssen wir unbedingt wieder arbeiten.
