Generally we find the West Coast more attractive the further we go in the south. After Perth we go, because I suspect that something is wrong with the shock absorber. I call around a bit and in Perth there is a mechanic who can check the suspension. I phone with him, that he ordered the necessary spare parts (whether I need it or not). This he has done, to my surprise. Great! Then we are looking for a caravan park, but find only very expensive, so we decide to go back out of town to spend the night there and come back tomorrow. We’re going to buy in the supermarket for the dinner, and there we meet Jack, whom we have already met in Exmouth on the campsite. He invites us and for a few days and we can stay with him. This is great, because he is chef and spoiled us with delicious dishes. He also helps me to bring the shock absorber to the mechanic. I also change the rear tire and am very happy that he has offered us his help. \n\n However, we do not know how to travel further. Many have told us, the best we have behind us, but the South should also be very beautiful. At this time of the year in the south it’s still very cold. We decide to go to a place, where only a few tourists are going. But first we go to Mandurah, because Len has offered us a couch.\n\n **********************\n\n Der Nambung NP hat mit seinen Pineaccles was Besonderes und ist bisher der einzige der das Geld wert ist. Generell finden wir die Westküste mehr attraktiv je weiter wir in den Süden kommen. \n\n Nach Perth gehen wir, weil ich vermute dass etwas mit dem Federbein nicht stimmt. Ich telefoniere etwas herum und in Perth gibt es einen Mechaniker, der das Federbein überprüfen kann. Ich telefoniere mit ihm, dass er die Ersatzteile gleich bestellt (egal ob ich sie brauche oder nicht). Dies hat er zu meiner Überraschung bereits getan. Super!\n\n Dann suchen wir einen Caravan Park, finden aber nur sehr teure, so dass wir entscheiden, wieder aus der Stadt zu fahren, da zu übernachten und morgen wieder zurück zu kommen. Wir gehen in den Supermarkt um das Nachtessen zu kaufen, und da treffen wir Jack, den wir schon in Exmouth auf dem Camping getroffen haben. Er lädt und zu sich ein und wir können einige Tage bei ihm bleiben. Dies ist super, da er Chefkoch ist und uns mit herrlichen Gerichten verwöhnt. Auch hilft er mir, das Federbein zum Mechaniker zu bringen. Ich wechsle auch gleich den Hinterreifen und bin superfroh, dass er uns seine Hilfe angeboten hat. \n\n Wir wissen allerdings nicht wie wir weiter reisen sollen. Viele haben uns gesagt, das schönste haben wir hinter uns, aber der Süden soll auch sehr schön sein. Es ist zu dieser Jahreszeit im Süden aber noch sehr kalt.
