And the humidity is also very high. Phew …. We visit some caves and hope that there is something cooler. After visiting the temple in the caves we are looking for a Vinery and try Cambodian wine. That’s disappointing and becomes the lowlight of the day. The Bambootrain is but then again a little more interesting. The next morning we find out that the $ 5 was not worth it for the hotel room. The whole night keep us insects that have settled in bed, on trot. I had almost everything in the room (dogs, cats, birds, mice, rats, mosquitoes, bugs, snakes, geckos, crickets …) but the insects in the bed are so far the most unpleasant. After prolonged forced stop and the many driving in Laos I have not quite found the rhythm of travel. It probably needs another week until I feel quite well. Again, see how long it will take…\n\n **********************\n\n In Battambang scheint es noch heisser zu sein. Und die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist ebenfalls sehr hoch. Puh….\n\n Wir besuchen einige Höhlen und hoffen dass es da etwas kühler ist. Nach der Besichtigung des Tempels bei den Höhlen suchen wir eine Vinery und versuchen Kambodschanischen Wein. Der ist aber enttäuschend und wird zum Lowlight des Tages. Der Bambootrain ist dann aber wieder etwas interessanter.\n\n Am nächsten morgen finden wir heraus dass die 5$ für das Hotelzimmer nicht wert war. Die ganze Nacht halten uns Insekten, die sich im Bett eingenistet haben, auf trab. Ich hatte schon fast alles im Zimmer (Hunde, Katzen, Vögel, Mäuse, Ratten, Moskitos, Wanzen, Schlangen, Geckos, Grillen,…) aber die Insekten im Bett sind bisher das Unangenehmste.\n\n Nach dem längerem Zwangstopp und dem vielen Fahren in Laos habe ich den Rhythmus des Reisens noch nicht ganz gefunden. Es braucht wohl noch eine Woche, bis ich mich wieder ganz wohl fühle.
