From time to time I am escorted by the police who protect me. Then I reach Luxor where I meet Roland again and together we look at some temples. Egypt has a massive tourist slump and there are hardly any tourists. So the buckboard driver begs for every ride. They can be downed from 25 pounds (formerly 100 pounds) to 10, 5 even down to 1 pound (5 dollars cents). This is the point I notice how desperate the people are here and so I give him 5 pounds without having to drive me around.<br \/>\nI do not want to lose too much time here and prepare the almost last step of my trip&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The return date is fixed!<br \/>\nAfter 4 \u00bd years of riding around the world, I will be back in Cham (ZG) on Saturday afternoon, September 23, 2017 and in Beringen (SH) on September 30, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who wants to join me in Cham should contact Ferdi (ferdi.loetscher (at) datazug.ch)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>**********************<\/p>\n<p>Ich geniesse die Fahrt durch die heisse und trockene W\u00fcste. Ab und zu werde ich von der Polizei eskortiert die mich besch\u00fctzen. Dann erreiche ich Luxor, treffe Roland wieder und zusammen schauen wir einige Tempel an. Egypt hat einen massiven Tourismus Einbruch und es sind kaum Touristen da. So betteln die Kutschen Fahrer um jede Fahrt. Sie lassen sich von 25 Pfund (fr\u00fcher 100 Pfund) auf 10, 5 sogar herunter bis auf 1 Pfund (5 Dollar Cent) herunterhandeln. Da merke ich wie verzweifelt die Leute hier sind und so gebe ich ihm 5 Pfund ohne dass er mich herumfahren muss.<\/p>\n<p>Ich will hier aber nicht zu viel Zeit verlieren und bereite den fast letzten Schritt meiner Reise vor\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Das R\u00fcckreisedatum steht fest!<\/p>\n<p>Nach 4 \u00bd Jahren in denen ich mit dem Motorrad um die Welt gefahren bin, werde ich am Samstag 23. September 2017 am Nachmittag in Cham (ZG) und am 30.
