Yesterday, I saw a label “Kerala Coffee” and ordered half a kilo. The seller had to grind and prepare the coffee first. But now I can pick up them, which is the surprise of the week for me. I did not think that I can buy real coffee here. In the evening I find a restaurant that offers steaks. Of course, I go there and order one. Unfortunately, it is the disappointment of the week. A leather brine as I have never eaten! Meanwhile, it has become quite cold in the north of India. This gives me no joy and it is clear to me, I must head south to get to warmer areas. On the way to Khajuraho, the road is getting worse, even though on the map a highway is shown. Everything is shaken vigorously for hours which again pretty stress me. It stresses me too, because I lose a lot of time and possibly reach Khajuraho late at night. Finally, I’m arriving at dawn and have still to look for a room. But this turns out to be easy, as the hotel owners come to me and make me an offer. The cheapest I suppose then. Let’s see what awaits me?\n\n **********************\n\n Vor der Abfahrt muss ich nochmals im Shop neben an vorbei. Gestern sah ich einen Aufkleber „Kerala Coffee” und habe ein halbes Kilo bestellt. Der Verkäufer musste den Kaffee zuerst noch mahlen und vorbereiten. Doch jetzt kann ich ihn abholen, was für mich eine die Überraschung der Woche ist. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich hier richtigen Kaffee kaufen kann. Am Abend finde ich ein Restaurant, dass Steak anbietet. Natürlich gehe ich dahin und bestelle eines. Leider die Enttäuschung der Woche. Eine Ledersole wie ich sie noch nie gegessen habe!\n\n Unterdessen ist es im Norden von Indien ziemlich kalt geworden. Dies macht mir überhaupt keine Freude und es ist für mich klar, ich muss wieder weiter nah Süden um in wärmere Gebiete zu kommen. Auf dem Weg nach Khajuraho wird die Strasse immer schlechter, obwohl auf der Karte eine Autobahn eingezeichnet ist. Alles wird während Stunden kräftig durchgeschüttelt was mich wieder mal ziemlich stresst. Es stresst mich auch, weil ich viel Zeit verliere und Khajuraho evtl. erst in der Nacht erreiche. Schlussendlich komme ich müde beim eindunkel an und muss noch ein Zimmer suchen. Dies gestaltet sich aber als einfach, da die Hotelbesitzer auf mich zukommen und mir gleich beim Töff ein Angebot machen. Das günstigste nehme ich dann.
